NEXXUS LIGHTING HIRES NEW SALES DIRECTORS AS RAMP UP OF ARRAY™ LIGHTING CONTINUES |
Charlotte, NC – September 14, 2009 – Nexxus Lighting, Inc. (NASDAQ Capital Market: NEXS) today announced that both Martin Woolard and Lawrence Fallon have joined the Company as its new Western and Eastern Regional Sales Directors for Array™ Lighting. These professionals will draw on their collective 34 years of commercial lighting and national account experience to drive Array Lighting sales into the retail, hospitality, restaurant and energy saving retrofit lighting markets.
Prior to joining the Nexxus Lighting management team, Mr. Woolard served as Director of Industrial National Accounts for Acuity Brands Lighting and Director of Holophane National Accounts, for Holophane, an Acuity Brands company. In these roles, Mr. Woolard oversaw the Industrial and Holophane National Accounts Groups. Prior to joining Acuity Brands, Mr. Woolard served as VP and General Manager of City Lighting Products from 1998 to 2000, and as Midwest National Accounts Manager at Cooper Lighting from 1996 to 1998. Mr. Woolard began his career in lighting in 1990 and holds a Bachelors Degree from Muskingum College.
Mr. Fallon served as Retail National Accounts Manager for Holophane / Acuity Brands Lighting prior to joining Nexxus Lighting. From 2004 to 2006, Mr. Fallon served as Director of National Accounts at Elliptipar. From 1994 to 2004, Mr. Fallon held various roles at Osram/Sylvania Products, Inc., including National Sales Manager, Commercial Sales Manager and Northeast Operations Manager. Mr. Fallon holds a Bachelors Degree from Wittenberg University.
