Featuring best in class LED replacement lamps with energy and cost saving benefits to commercial lighting verticals including hospitality, restaurants and retail lighting markets
CHARLOTTE, NC – February 17, 2010 --Nexxus Lighting, Inc. (NASDAQ Capital Market: NEXS) today announced that it has launched a national advertising campaign around it’s new Array™ Lighting LED replacement light bulb product line. This comprehensive campaign includes print, on-line and social media and is focused on the specification grade commercial lighting market. Specifically, the campaign will target the hotel and hospitality, restaurant and retail store lighting markets, focusing on the energy and money saving potential Array Lighting offers its customers by simply changing their light bulbs. Advertisements showcasing Array LED lamps as a truly green technology and superior alternative to compact fluorescent lamps (CFLs) are also being launched to the lighting industry. The campaign will further highlight why Array lamps are emerging as the leader in LED replacement lamp technology.
“With all of the low performing products being introduced to the consumer market by the large lighting companies, we felt it was important to target high performance commercial and institutional lighting accounts. These specification grade lighting customers demand higher performance, better color, longer life and the best in reliability and quality,” stated Mike Bauer, Nexxus Lighting’s President and CEO. “The results of independent third party LM79 and LM80 tests, which are available on our website, demonstrate that we currently have one of the highest efficacy (lumens per watt), longest lasting, lightest weight LED replacement lamp available. Our Array lamps set the high performance industry standard for the LED replacement lamp market, and this advertising campaign is designed to ensure that Array products will become the worldwide LED replacement lamp of choice across the commercial lighting industry. In the coming months, the market will see even more exciting new products being introduced by Nexxus Lighting and we are very excited about kicking off this 2010 advertising campaign,” concluded Mr. Bauer.
The advertising campaign will feature ads in Hotels Magazine, Visual Merchandising and Store Design (VMSD), Restaurant and Institutions Magazine, LD+A and LED Magazine as well as on-line banner ads at Light Search.com. Facebook and Twitter social media sites will also be used to build global brand awareness and drive adoption of the Array Lighting brand for Nexxus Lighting.
